Travis Marcus Fletcher is an advertising strategist, media director and public speaker. As Director of Digital Strategy at Hour Media Group, he leads digital growth, multimedia strategy and content development across one of the nation’s largest portfolios of city magazines.

In this role, Fletcher works across brands, departments and acquisitions to help shape how modern companies connect with audiences, serve clients, and tell meaningful stories in a changing digital landscape. His multidisciplinary background spans digital media, video production, brand strategy, audience development and executive leadership.

Though born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Fletcher has lived in Michigan for more than 20 years. He speaks and teaches at colleges, schools, and institutes across the state, including Lawrence Technological University, the Motion Picture Institute and Oxford High School, where he serves on the media production advisory committee. He has also spoken at Oakland University for several years, working with PRSSA students and mentoring OU students and graduates as they prepare for careers in media, communications, and digital storytelling.

Fletcher also works with Digital Arts, Film, & Television, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, as a judge for the Michigan Student Film Festival and as an educator supporting students and professional development for teachers across the state. Throughout his career, he has mentored dozens of interns and early-career professionals.

At Oakland University, Fletcher hopes to continue supporting the next generation of communicators, storytellers and media professionals as they prepare to enter a rapidly changing creative field.
