Anthony Piccirilli

Anthony Piccirilli is a communications specialist at American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM), a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier that designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. At AAM, he develops internal and external feature stories spotlighting employees and company milestones, creates strategic communication campaigns for 75+ global facilities, curates daily industry news for executives, supports company-wide events and helps operate AAM’s World Headquarters merchandise store — both in-person and online.

Beyond his professional role, Piccirilli is a content creator who produces professional wrestling-themed media for more than 80,000 followers across several platforms, primarily on Instagram. He collaborates with brands, creators and celebrities — including WWE Hall of Famer and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle. He is part of Instagram’s Creator Program, the YouTube Partner Program and is a WWE Affiliate, allowing him to monetize content, test new features and build an engaged community.

Piccirilli previously held roles as a marketing and communications co-op at AAM and as a public relations and operations intern with the MLB-supported Royal Oak Leprechauns, where he contributed to social media, merchandising and ballpark operations.

Committed to community involvement, he has volunteered with Roseville Community Schools to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students and currently serves as social media manager for Rochester High School Boys’ Lacrosse. He also stays connected with members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at Oakland University, where he was a former chapter president and marketing director. During his time on the executive board, the chapter earned multiple university and national honors, including the Teahan Chapter Award for outstanding achievements, Star Chapter recognition and university praise for creative social media content on Instagram and LinkedIn.

Piccirilli earned a B.A. in Public Relations and Strategic Communication with a Minor in Advertising from Oakland University in December 2024.
