Megan Wolowiec

Megan Wolowiec is a Public Relations Manager at Lambert by LLYC, a global corporate and marketing affairs agency. She helps organizations achieve their objectives and strengthen their relationships with key audiences through strategic content development, media relations and social media. More specifically, Wolowiec serves as a project manager for integrated accounts, leading public relations, marketing and creative efforts.

Wolowiec has always been passionate about storytelling and writing. She is inspired by the challenge and responsibility of conveying meaningful messages for an organization that will further strengthen their connection with their audience. She loves getting to share topics that are serious, important, fun, sad, happy and everything in between, through a variety of channels. Wolowiec has applied her diverse talents across a range of sectors, including K-12 and higher education, social impact, EdTech, and manufacturing. Beyond her supernatural ability to craft compelling narratives, her superpower is her capacity for staying organized despite the chaos that might surround her. 

Wolowiec graduated from Oakland University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minors in both advertising and public relations. Wolowiec was a founding member of the award-winning Oakland University Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter, which is overseen by its award-winning advisor, Dr. Chiaoning Su. Wolowiec was inspired to choose a career in public relations in part because she gained an appreciation of the ability to tell stories in many different formats from this student organization. She honed her skills as a Corporate Social Responsibility Intern with Genisys Credit Union and with an internship at Siren, a strategic communication firm. She regularly gives back to OU by participating as a guest speaker in classes and at career panels and networking events.
