  • Golden Key
    • Description: Golden Key International Honour Society, founded on November 29th, 1977, is an academic honor society which recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines. In an effort to reflect the society's diversity and international presence, Golden Key uses the globally accepted spelling of "honour" in its name. Golden Key has emerged as one of the most dynamic, forward-thinking organizations in higher education. Committed to an ethos of recognizing academic achievement and encouraging altruistic service, the Society's on-campus presence has reached over 390 chapters at colleges and universities worldwide. The Society offers its members over $1,000,000 (USD) annually through numerous scholarship and award programs.   • Grizzly Students Training in Exercise and Performance 
    • Description: G-STEP at Oakland University exists so that all students at OU might be able to find community, pursue healthy exercise and living habits, and learn more about the complex field of exercise science. We offer diverse events that will allow students to excel in these different, but equally important, areas. We aim to achieve this goal by partnering with motivated individuals in impoverished communities working to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development / safe homes. 100% of donations and fundraising are used toward the creation of medical clinics, schools and other development projects. MEDLIFE currently operates in Ecuador, Peru and Costa Rica. As an organization, we plan annual service-learning trips to these locations.     • Description: Mental Health & Wellness for Women in STEM is dedicated to creating a safe place for women in STEM to come together and focus on their overall wellbeing.     • Description: Phi Alpha Honor Society is the National Social Work Honors Society's Chapter on Oakland University's campus. Phi Alpha promotes strong educational standards for social workers and welcomes members who demonstrate excellence in both academics and social work.

  • Pi Sigma Alpha - Political Science Honor Society 
    • Description: Pi Sigma Alpha, Nu Omega is Oakland University's political science honor society. Our Members have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA in 12 or more credits of Political Science classes. Majors most represented in this organization are International Relations, Political Science, And Public Administration. We are dedicated to the academic understanding of politics. Anyone is able to join, however, before being officially inducted after meeting the club criteria!

  • Pollinator Conservation Organization
    • Description: The PCO is focused on the protection of wild and managed pollinator species, including bees, butterflies, and other animals. We aim to create "pollinator sanctuaries" which will provide habitat for these species, to spread awareness and advocate the importance of these animals, and to develop and execute sustainable strategies for supporting pollinators.

    • Description: Founded in 2023, Omega Sigma Delta Auxiliary Fraternity, Inc. is a community service–oriented all gender inclusive fraternity dedicated to marching band–related dance and performance arts. Our focus includes baton twirling, color guard, pom-pom/pomerette performance, and drum major artistry, while also supporting the development of dance across all genres. OSD is built on the tenets of Camaraderie, Achievement, Superior Chivalry, and Physical Excellence. We believe that strengthening our community is the only way to truly uplift the people within it.
