Letter from the Chair

Hello PAC Friends and Colleagues,

I am honored to introduce myself as your 2025-2026 PAC Chair. You may recall a couple months ago I joined as PAC Chair-Elect, and had the opportunity to serve with a welcoming and dedicated PAC leadership team. It was an absolute pleasure jumping in to collaborate with the thoughtful and intentional PAC Retreat Committee, leading to a fun and successful retreat full of spirited conversation, bonding over shared learning and meaningful work, and of course -- great food!

As we discovered from our previous year of PAC meetings and PAC retreat, there truly is no substitute for the impact that spending time together creates. It fosters a unique space for organic conversation and learning to take root and grow. As we lean into the vision of "success for every student" through a PAC lens of seeking knowledge and unity, I am excited to share that we will continue to hold in-person meetings for the 2025-2026 academic year. I am committed to reaching our identified goals from the retreat to provide more opportunities to actively engage with one another and support our professional development.

I am looking forward to serving our advising community, and want to express my thanks to my talented E-board team for joining in on the adventure - Ashley Sweeney (NACADA Liaison), Jen Bellini (Treasurer), Scott Olson (Chair-Elect), and Tessa Johnson (Secretary). I could not ask for a better leadership team, and I know this year will be excellent with your help!

Let's continue to build on all of the wonderful things we learned and accomplished last year, and strive to empower one another through collaborative learning and unity.

In your service,
Ashley Finkley, M.A., LSC, LLPC
