
Outdoor Complex
If you would like to reserve any outdoor space at the RAOC, please submit a request here. For information on rates and rental/usage info, please refer to the Facility Rental page. For any questions or to further inquire about reservations email [email protected].
- For groups planning large scale events, or requesting weekly blocks of time rental requests are due at the following times:
- October 1 for large events or weekly rentals that are scheduled January - April
- March 1 for large scale events or weekly rentals that are scheduled May - August
- July 1 for large scale events or weekly rentals that are scheduled September - December
All rentals will be scheduled first come first served based on the scheduling times listed above. However, priority scheduling is given in the follow order:
- Recreation and Well-Being Programs and Clubs
- Reoccurring Major Rental Groups
- Student Organizations and Campus Departments
- External/Community Rental Requests
- Your request will be reviewed, and the Coordinator of Facility Operations will contact you about facility availability, any necessary liability insurance, if legal contracts apply, and any related rental fees or resource charges.
- Groups requesting space after the above deadlines will be scheduled first come first served based on space available.

- Rec North Superfield: 80 yards by 120 yards East-West Artificial Turf Field
- Rec South: A 70 yard by 120 yard East-West Artificial Turf Field
- White Lines: 9v9 Soccer
- Red Lines: Full Length Soccer
- Blue Lines: Men's & Women's Lacrosse
- Rec East: A 40 yard by 100 Yard North-South Artificial Turf Field
- Rec Central: A 40 yard by 100 yard North-South Artificial Turf Field
- Rec West: A 40 Yard by 100 Yard North-South Artificial Turf Field
Tennis Courts

Outdoor Track
- 8 Lane Track
- In Field: 72 yards by 120 yard North-South Field marked for Soccer and college football inside the Track

Grizzly Oaks Disc Golf Course
Located immediately East of the RAOC and field events space, the course is open to the entire Oakland University community. Highlights include:
- Start and Finish in the same basic area; Tee #1 is located at the southwest corner of the tennis courts. Tee #18 finishes near the northeast corner of the tennis courts.
- Total distance is 5,478 feet (2,685 on the front 9, 2793 on the back 9.)
- Par 55 (holes 1-17 are par 3, #18 is a par 4.)
- All holes are a minimum of 200 feet with 9 holes over 200 feet. (4 holes are 200-249; 5 holes are 250-299; 5 holes are 300-349; 3 holes are 350-400 and #18 is 522.)
- Hole design takes advantage of the natural environment, offering a wide variety of shot selection to complete each hole. #16 features an island green.
Participants who drive to the course are encouraged to park in P-11 or other officially designated university parking spaces. Vehicles will not be permitted to park alongside Meadowbrook Road or in the grassy area around the field event space.

The course is open from dawn to dusk seven days a week from late March - October.
