Elevating the realms of music, stage, and visual art, Lulu Fall stands as a dynamic force in the creative and performing arts. Hailing from the culturally rich intersections of Senegalese and Cameroonian heritage, Fall's artistic journey echoes a harmonious blend of global influences and American sensibilities.

Fall has graced Broadway productions such as the iconic “Hair,” the groundbreaking “Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812” and the hilarious one-night-only performance, “Skittles: The Musical,” featuring Michael C Hall.

Some off-Broadway performances include “Hadestown,” “This Ain't No Disco” and “Wild Goose Dreams.” In Detroit theatre, she took center stage in the world premiere musical, “Hastings Street," and earned a Wilde Award for Best Supporting Actress in “Passing Strange.”

Television credits include HBO's “Random Acts of Flyness,” TBS's “The Last O.G.,” and the 71st Tony Awards, delivering an ensemble performance from “Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812.”

Equipped with a degree in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University, Fall has crafted a discography of six albums. Her debut jazz album, “Lulu’s Back in Town,” marked the inception of a captivating journey, followed by the eclectic “It’s Official,” and the collaborative EP “Heal: Part 1,” with LF+JT (Lulu Fall and James Theory). In 2017, she mesmerized audiences with “The Unpaved Road,” alongside the Kris Johnson Group, featuring the soul-stirring "Painfully Sober" exclusively premiered by “AFROPUNK.” Her debut concept album “Between Two Worlds” was released under Ropeadope Records in 2019. Lulu independently released “Transform” in 2022, showcasing her ever-evolving sonic landscape.

In 2018, Fall launched her private vocal coaching and instruction platform Lulu Fall Vocal Studio. Fueled by her passion to teach vocal technique, Fall specializes in acting and storytelling through song, audition techniques, performance preparation and readiness, vocal longevity and versatility.

From iconic venues like Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., 2020 Detroit Jazz Festival and Orchestra Hall in Detroit, to international stages like the Langnau Jazz Nights Festival in Switzerland and Jazz Re:freshed in London, Lulu's performances transcend borders. Her accolades include being a finalist in the 4th annual Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Jazz Competition, winning the Mid-Atlantic Song and receiving honors in the Great American Song Contest and International Songwriting Competition.

Embarking on her visual artistic journey in 2020, Fall found solace and expression in the world of painting during the tumultuous global pandemic. Self-taught, she unveiled her inaugural solo exhibition, "Lulu Fall: An Introduction to Hues," at Café 1923 in Hamtramck in February 2022. A second solo exhibition, "Grief: A Visual Diary," unfolded at Congregation Detroit in January 2023. Beyond solo exhibitions, Fall's art has graced the spaces of various group exhibitions in metro Detroit, including Irwin House Gallery, Detroit Artists Market (DAM), Berkley Coffee, BasBlue and the Torch of Wisdom Foundation's 2023 Silent Art Auction. In 2021, Fall extended her artistic reach by launching her Etsy shop, LuluFallAbstracts. Select art pieces are currently hung at the Kresge Foundation headquarters. Fall is the newly appointed executive director at Cabaret 313.
