Title IX and Compliance
The University prohibits discrimination, harassment, and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, pregnancy, and any other protected status under state or federal law.
The Deputy and Title IX Coordinator oversee reports of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct involving students, faculty, and staff. This includes concerns related to sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking, dating and domestic violence, and sexual exploitation. Additionally, the Title IX Coordinator administers faculty and staff accommodations (disability, pregnancy, religious).
The Deputy and Title IX Coordinator at OU are here to ensure that you are treated with fairness and respect. If you have experienced, witnessed, or been impacted by sexual misconduct (including sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual exploitation), discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation, the Deputy and Title IX Coordinator are here to help provide support and guidance in finding out which next step feels right for you. When reporting, some individuals prefer a supportive response only, others choose to request a university investigation, and some choose both. You are encouraged to report any incident through the online reporting form below.
