First Year Advising Center

The First Year Advising Center fosters exploration and growth as new students transition to college. We provide tailored services and connections to campus resources that empower students to define their educational goals and achieve academic success.

• • We know it feels like the semester just started, but it's already time to check in with the First Year Advising Center. All students are required to attend an advising session every semester to make sure you are on the right path toward academic success. Schedule an Apppointment today!
    

• • Not able to make an appointment? Drop-In hours will be available in December. 
    

• • Due to urgent repairs to the campus hot water system, the university will be closed from 5 p.m. Friday, November 21 through 5 p.m. Sunday, November 30.

    • All on-campus classes are canceled during this time.

    • Some instructors may choose to move classes online. You’ll be notified by Monday, November 17 if that applies to you.

    • Check for updates about any assignment changes or lab rescheduling from your instructors.
