Academic Advising

All students must meet with their adviser before registration for the 2025-2026 academic year opens in late March. A hold will be placed on your account, and you will not be able to register or withdraw from any courses, until this requirement is met.

If your assigned adviser does not have openings available, check out our upcoming drop-in dates to complete your required appointment. 

How to schedule an appointment

Drop-in hours will be available from 9 am to 3 pm on the following dates:

• March 10 - 12, 17: Priority Registration Students ONLY (Honors College, Veterans, Students registered with Disability Support Services, Athletes) 
  • These drop-ins can be used for completing required appointments and/or questions about registration
    
    
• March 13 - 14: Withdrawal Questions ONLY 
  • For any FYAC student who has questions about withdrawing from a course for this semester
    
    
• March 18 - 27: All FYAC Students
  • For any FYAC student who needs to complete their required appointment or has questions about registration

How do I find my Adviser?

• You can identify your assigned academic adviser on your MySAIL account. Log in with your NetID and password at the top right of the page. Find the "Academic Profile" widget. You will see your Academic Adviser listed in this box.
