This section has been designated to recognize special programs that are being offered by the OU Counseling Center (OUCC) throughout the semester.  Check back often for locations and times of upcoming events!


"Social Confidence 101" (Social Anxiety, Relationships, and Adulting Support Group)
Managing social stress, setting boundaries, and figuring life out (without panicking)

All groups meet on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Adulting is tricky enough without social anxiety constantly making you second-guess your every move! Social Confidence 101 is your no-judgment testing ground to practice real-world communication, ditch overthinking, and set healthy interpersonal boundaries. Whether you want to master small talk, handle awkward situations, or build genuine connections without panicking, we’ve got your back. Join us to turn those "did I say the wrong thing?" moments into real confidence and take on life with a lot less stress!

Turning the academic demands of college life into manageable daily habits

All groups meet on Tuesdays at 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Learning to survive and thrive in a stressful world through the cultivation of wellbeing

All groups meet on Wednesday at 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Ready to swap burnout for balance without giving up your favorite life moments? The Wellness Fix is your go-to space to reset your routine, master the art of reduced stress living, and actually get a decent night’s sleep. Together, we’ll tackle everything from micro-workouts and easy meal prep to simple mind resets that fit right into your busy schedule. Come hang out, recharge your batteries, and discover how easy it is to feel good every day!

Whether you’re figuring out how to talk to professors or balancing home life with your new schedule, we’ve got the ultimate cheat codes for your first year. Join us to share the laughs, drop the stress, and build a crew that helps you crush year one!

Beyond the Surface (Men's Support Group)
The modern guy's guide to navigating masculinity in the 21st century

All groups meet on Thursdays at 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Forget the outdated "guy code" and the pressure to have it all figured out. Beyond the Surface is a fresh, real-talk space designed for members to drop the act, ditch the stress, and navigate modern life on their own terms. From building solid relationships and navigating dating, and managing everyday burnout to redefining what success actually looks like, we get into the stuff that actually matters. Come hang out, respectfully speak your mind without judgment, and connect with others who are open-minded.

Where: The Gender and Sexuality Center (104J NFH)

Feeling isolated in your gender journey? Need a safe space to explore, express, and talk about gender? This support group exists to help with both of these and more! Gender: Together exists for all gender identities, journeys, and expression. This group opens its doors to anyone who wishes to discuss how gender exists and affects their daily life--allowing a safe space to discuss these topics.

These meetings will take place in the Gender and Sexuality Center (104J NFH)

Neurodivergent Support Group

All meetings take place on Wednesdays from 3:00 PM-4:30 PM in the Oakland Center

Are you looking for a safe and welcoming space to unmask and connect with others who understand your experiences? Our supportive community celebrates neurodiversity and empowers individuals to share their stories, gain insights, and develop strategies for thriving in a neurotypical world. This group will be a mix of support and skills building and is free to all students!
