Virtual Labs

The Oakland University’s virtual computer lab makes software and computer resources available to students within a web browser. The virtual computer lab is accessible to the campus community within MySAIL.

The virtual computer lab can:

  • Access licensed software
  • Work in a full desktop environment
  • Share their screens
  • Use and store files in Google Drive
  • Have 24/7 access
  • Use Windows-only software from any operating system with a supported web browser

Information about software availability for each lab is available on the support knowledge base here: Virtual Labs Information.

How to Connect

From any device with a web browser, navigate to the MySAIL portal and log in with your NetID. Open the left side-bar within the MySail portal and scroll to the "Virtual Labs" drop-down. Choose one of the virtual lab options made available to you. Once the virtual lab has been launched, select the software you want to run from the Desktop.
