Prepare for Transfer Student Orientation
After being admitted and activating your account, there are a few important steps to take to ensure your transfer credits are processed accurately.
Review Your Preliminary Transfer Evaluation
A preliminary evaluation of your coursework (showing how your earned credits apply to OU degree requirements) is sent to you by mail within a few weeks of admission.
Submit any New Transcripts
If you have completed additional courses at another institution since you applied to OU and/or you only submitted unofficial transcripts, make sure to send your official transcripts to the Office of the Registrar by following the directions below.
Email Official Transcripts: [email protected]
Mail Official Transcripts: Office of the Registrar 318 Meadow Brook Rd. North Foundation Hall, Rm. 160 Rochester, MI 48309-4454
See How Your Credits Transfer
The Transfer Equivalency Tool contains course equivalency information for community colleges and four-year institutions. Use the tool to get an idea of which courses may transfer to OU. The course equivalency information listed in the tool is subject to change.
Transfer credit will be posted to your academic record after we receive your official transcripts from previous institutions.
More detailed information on obtaining and sending various forms of transcripts can be found in the Transfer Student Toolkit.
