Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of Honor Community Health, Deb Brinson has more than 30 years in health care management. She has served as CEO of Honor Community health for the last eight years where she is working to ensure that vulnerable populations have access to quality health care. Prior to that Debra served as Deputy Health Officer with Ingham County and as Executive Director with the School Community Health Alliance of Michigan, the voice for school-based health centers. Ms. Brinson’s passion in service to the community also lead her to serving on Eaton Rapids School Board where she served as both board president and treasurer. Throughout her career Ms. Brinson has been involved in several innovative health and financing projects which have led to increased services through the state for children and families. Most importantly Ms. Brinson is passionate ensuring that all individuals have access to integrated health care services and when not in the office you will find her working diligently with the state legislature on effective policy.
Ms. Brinson is honored to serve on the School Health Sciences Board of Advocacy and Resource Development. She believes in and values the importance of educating future leaders and supporting strong institutions who are dedicated to the success of its students therefore to the success of the communities they serve.
Debra Brinson received her master’s in public administration from Western Michigan University and her Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services from Michigan State University.
