Elizabeth Jackson is physician assistant currently working as manager of Advanced Practice Providers and the Cardiovascular serviceline at Henry Ford Health - Rochester. Elizabeth earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Albion College and her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University.
Throughout her career she has worked clinically in multiple settings including academics, outpatient clinics and inpatient care, focusing mostly on cardiology and acute care. Most recently she has been in an administrative role supporting the cardiovascular serviceline, physician engagement, and advanced practice providers. Elizabeth has been actively involved at Ascension Providence Rochester in the Mission Team, supporting the CarePax Program and wellness programs. She also supports PA/NP programs as a preceptor, leads the multidisciplinary peer review committee and supports the Rochester High School mentoring program. She completed the Roots of Ministry Leadership Cohort in April 2019 and was awarded the Pi Alpha National Honor Society award from Wayne State in May 2020.
Elizabeth enjoys community involvement and often engages in community events and educational opportunities to support cardiac health and wellness. Serving OU on the School of Health Sciences Board of Advocacy and Resource Development is an honor and joy for Elizabeth, as it provides a platform to support her passion for this community, health advocacy and build strong partnerships with the hospital and educational system.
