Clinical and Professional Experience:
Jessica has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for over 25 years, and has been a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist for most of that time. She has a varied background in both clinical and community contexts, and has worked in outpatient education settings, consulted for Community Mental Health, directed Diabetes Self-Management Education programs, and volunteered with non-profit organizations to reduce hunger and malnutrition in South Africa, Mali, and eSwatini. She has held multiple roles within large primary-care based organizations and successfully improved population health outcomes across both state-wide and national initiatives. She has enjoyed being a preceptor and mentor for Registered Dietitians, and is enthusiastic about advancing upcoming nutrition professionals.
