Marko Berishaj is an accomplished Healthcare Executive and proud graduate of Wayne State University. With an executive career spanning over two decades, Marko has distinguished himself as a skilled leader in the realms of business planning, people development, and business growth. His leadership has established DirectRx as the leading independent national pharmacy specializing in lung care. 

In 1999, Marko was a founding member and first chair of the Gjergj Kastrioti Scholarship Fund, a Non-profit organization that provides scholarship support to Albanian-American youth in the State of Michigan. Today, the fund raises hundreds of thousands annually and creates a foundation that offers financial support and demonstrates that the Albanian community is willing and able to support all those that pursue a higher education.

Marko's passion for healthcare and patient welfare is evident in his role on the School of Health Sciences Board. He is driven by the experience and well-being of patients, underscoring his beliefs in a caring and engaging team member experience within specialty pharmacy. The School of Health Sciences Board of Advocacy and Resource Development is a meaningful way to make a difference in the healthcare industry.
